=================================== National Land Use Land Cover (LULC) =================================== .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 1 :hidden: Cadastre LULC Insight Pack Geoscape National Land Use Land Cover (LULC) is a nationally consistent, parcel-linked view of Australia’s agricultural and natural landscapes. It combines land cover (what is on the ground) with land use (how the land is being used) and links this information to the National Cadastre, enabling organisations to measure change over time, compare consistently across jurisdictions, and make defensible decisions from a single evidence base. Derived from 10 m Earth observation inputs and refreshed regularly to reflect seasonal crop dynamics and annual vegetation and forest cover change, LULC delivers decision-ready outputs such as percentage land use at the parcel level. This supports a wide range of applications across agribusiness lending, insurance risk and recovery, government planning and natural resource management, and hazard management. .. figure:: images/lulc_overview.png -------------- Insight Packs -------------- * `Land Use Land Cover `_ * `Crop `_ * `Forest `_ ------- Related ------- * `Seeing Agriculture Clearly `_
