      Electoral Boundaries is compiled as a feature-based polygon dataset consisting of two layers, Commonwealth Electoral Boundaries (federal divisions prescribed by the AEC) and State Electoral Boundaries (state/territory divisions prescribed by jurisdictions). It is produced by aggregating boundary geometry and attribution from multiple jurisdictional sources that are revised regularly, then structured into a standardised national dataset (with an accompanying data model and data dictionary) to provide a consistent national view.
