Addresses Removed from G-NAF

While the default position in G-NAF is to not remove addresses but retain all addresses at a confidence of -1 if no longer supported, occasionally there is a need to totally remove the addresses in the case of erroneous or duplicated addresses. In the August release there are 4 addresses in Queensland that have been removed from G-NAF and 3 addresses in the ACT removed from G-NAF and the ADDRESS_DETAIL_PIDs are as shown below.

Increased Incidence of Locality Only Addresses

The number of addresses at Locality level in Queensland has increased significantly for the August Release of G-NAF. These addresses primarily relate to new developments. This is a flow on effect of upgrades being made in Queensland to their datasets resulting in a minimal number of new geocoded addresses being provided for this update by the jurisdiction. The November 2026 update of G-NAF should see this situation resolved.

Resolved Issues

The previously reported issue in the Victorian data of misalignment between the addresses and cadastral shifts have been removed as they are being progressively improved.
