Overview

  • Nationally, the August 2026 update of G-NAF shows an increase of 48,294 addresses overall (0.30%). The total number of addresses in G-NAF now stands at 15,949,543 of which 15,108,510 or 94.73% are principal

  • The confidence level distribution nationally for the August 2026 release has the confidence 2 addresses increasing by 38,444 from the February 2026 release with the total percentage of confidence 2 addresses decreasing slightly to 69.50% of principal addresses. The number of confidence 1 addresses has increased by 1,660 and represent 14.12% of all principal addresses while confidence 0 addresses have increased by 14,474 and represent 16.38% of addresses

  • With respect to address reliability, there was an increase of 45,687 address level, an increase of 1,354 in street locality addresses and an increase of 3,937 in locality level addresses. The reliability of principal addresses in G-NAF is now made up of 98.11% address level, 1.83% street locality addresses and 0.06% locality addresses.
